End User License Agreement (EULA)

1. Parties & Definitions

This EULA is a binding legal contract concluded exclusively between you (referred to as "User", "Licensee", or "you") and Rahul Das (referred to as "Licensor", "Author", "Owner", or "we").

"Application" or "Software" refers to the MyMoney personal finance software, including mobile application executables, compiled code, database schemas, styling assets, user interfaces, and associated documentation distributed through official channels.

Subject to the strict terms of this Agreement, Licensor grants you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable limited license to:

4. Intellectual Property Rights

MyMoney, including its source code, system architecture, database triggers and views, user interfaces, graphics, icons, logos, brand assets, and technical documentation, constitutes the proprietary and confidential intellectual property of Rahul Das.

This software is licensed, not sold. You acquire no title, copyright, ownership, or intellectual property rights in the Application itself.

5. Third-Party Open-Source Components & Attribution

The Application incorporates certain third-party software libraries and components (such as Expo SDK modules, React Native frameworks, Tailwind CSS utilities, Lucide iconography, Zustand state management, and SQLite drivers).

These third-party libraries are licensed under their respective permissive open-source licenses (primarily MIT, Apache 2.0, and ISC). Licensor acknowledges and complies with the copyright notices and license requirements of each third-party component.

Nothing in this proprietary EULA is intended to restrict or limit your rights under the individual terms of those third-party open-source licenses.

6. Local Data Custody & Privacy

MyMoney operates completely offline. All transaction ledgers, accounts, categories, and debts are stored exclusively in a local SQLite database on your physical device. Licensor has zero access to your financial data.

You retain 100% ownership and custody of your records. You are solely responsible for generating, managing, and securing your offline backup JSON files.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

Provided "As-Is" Without Warranty

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Application is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", with all faults and without warranties of any kind. Licensor disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

MyMoney is a manual financial calculation and logging tool, not a certified accounting system or banking institution. It does not constitute professional tax, investment, accounting, or legal advice.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event shall Rahul Das be liable for any special, incidental, indirect, exemplary, or consequential damages whatsoever (including, without limitation, damages for loss of business profits, data corruption, device failure, lost savings, or business interruption) arising out of the use of or inability to use the Application.

9. Termination

This Agreement is effective from the date you first download or use the Application until terminated. Your rights under this license will terminate automatically and without notice from Licensor if you fail to comply with any term(s) of this EULA.

Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Application and delete all copies from your devices.

10. Governing Law & Inquiries

This EULA shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without giving effect to any choice of law rules.
